TRAINING FOR CARERS

Trainees practice noticing subtle signals from
coma patients.

"The Nursing staff have benefited from this training and show greater understanding of the process through which the patient is traveling as well as the importance of taking time to allow the patients to express their feelings in whatever way is possible.
Quality of care has become a watchword within the ward and all staff are eager to understand more and upskill themselves further.
It is recommended that ComaCARE be invited to present their short course to a wider variety of Health Workers to share their ideals and promote faster healing for patients.
