INDIGENOUS (LOCAL) RESEARCH

ComaCARE is currently seeking volunteers to conduct research into coma care in South Africa.
We want to look at belief systems around the coma state, religious and cultural practices for people in altered and near death states and current coma care that is offered.
The research we want to conduct is in four parts:

• Belief systems, religious and cultural practice. To view initial research please click here.
• Current coma care.
• Coma clients’ own experience of being in a coma.
• Coma care givers’ experience.
