ComaCARE WISHLIST 2005

ComaCARE is a new initiative

 

It is inspired by the belief that people in coma are present and that many can be heard if we listen to them carefully.

 

This means:

Communication techniques taught to carers and family members
Advocating for coma communication provision in living wills
Researching international and indigenous trends in coma communication
Educating the public about coma patients' rights and possibilities

 

Can you pledge your help?We are new organization starting up through support of concerned friends and professional carers. We need:

1 computer  1 portable computer (for presentations, traveling)          1 photocopier, printer and scanner in one (small office) 8 Black ink cartridges      6 Colour ink cartridges 1 office chair 1 flip chart stand 6 Flip chart paper 1 Notice board 1 Wastepaper basket 24 x 1 Ream of paper (or 6 boxes) 2 Box of black pens 2 Box of mixed felt-tip pens 1 Stapler and staples 1 Punch 1 Calculator Folder files (many!) 12 x Petrol for a month 6 x jar Coffee 6x box Tea 3x bag Sugar for meetings workshops etc 6 pack Cartons Milk 6 Mugs Cleaning products Plants and any brightening gifts are always welcome!
