The aim of our education programme is to create an enabling
environment for ComaCARE
work. Through educational talks and a media programme
we want to change the general perception of coma to one
in which the coma patient is seen as a member of society
with full human rights.
We also want to ensure family and
friends of coma clients know that coma communication
is available and that they do not feel isolated and
abandoned.

ComaCARE has a half to one hour
presentation about our work which includes a power point presentation,
an experiential exercise and a time for questions and answers.
To book a speaker please phone Jan Webster on 021 797 9995
and state your language preference. We will try and accomodate
your needs.
If the venue is a distance from the ComaCARE
office we may ask for a small fee to cover our travelling
costs.
